USM24
Season 2023-2024
USM24 is the team’s third electric vehicle, competing at both Silverstone (FSUK) and Hockenheim (FSG), just like its predecessor. The team worked hard to deliver major technical upgrades that impressed both judges and competitors alike.

FSUK 2024
With a total overhaul of the mechanical systems, USM24 introduced new design philosophies, balancing between both reliability and performance gains. Similar approach was followed with the overall preparation of both System Heads and team members, resulting in the team achieving some of its best Statics results of the last few years. As such, we are proud to have achieved 12th overall at FSUK.

FSG 2024
Continuing our 2023 journey, USM returned to Formula Student Germany, achieving 36th overall, while finishing the endurance event, marking 12 years since the last time the team completed two such events in a single season. The team received positive feedback on its performance, while racing alongside some of the best teams internationally.
Here is what our Team Principal, Craig Yeardly has to say about the season:

"That’s us on our way back home now, what a great way to end the season.
Overall, we finished 36th out of 79 teams with 277.60 points, up 13 places from last season and 40% more points. We improved our performance in the Business, Design, Skidpad, Acceleration, Endurance and Efficiency events which demonstrates the continual improvement of the team.
Notably, we have also completed 2 Endurance events in a season for the first time in 12 years as a team. In terms of our goals for the season, we set off to be the third best team in the UK.
Although we didn’t directly achieve this at FSUK this year, this team is a top team, and once we put the final pieces together, I’m sure this team can deliver a result we dream of.”
